Katherine Ntiamoah (BA, 2008) is Deputy of Public Affairs and Press Officer for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration in the Office of Multilateral Coordination and External Relations at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC. Her previous overseas assignments at the State Department include U.S. Consulate Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, the U.S. Mission to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium, and two tours at Embassy Islamabad, Pakistan.
Prior to joining the State Department, she worked for Habitat for Humanity, the Livingston Group, and the United States House of Representatives. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Studies from Indiana University in 2008. She also holds a M.A. from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Ntiamoah speaks French, Spanish, and Arabic.
Ntiamoah was born and raised in the Midwest and is a first generation Ghanaian-American. She is married and has two Chihuahuas.
