Director of Design Partnership Marketing — Target
Laura Cashill (B.A. ’94, Telecommunications) is the director of design partnership marketing at Target. She takes pride in bringing to life Target’s “limited time” partnership collections with diverse U.S. and international designers/artists from London, Paris, Milan, Copenhagen, and Asia. Cashill’s innovative sprit has enhanced her team’s collaborations with Target’s very successful ventures with Missoni, Lilly Pulitzer, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, and Victoria Beckham. She also values her work on co-creation with humanitarian and designer Lauren Bush Lauren on the “FEED USA” hunger-relief project. During the past 23 years at Target, Cashill’s diverse assignments have spanned merchandising, design, innovation, human resources, and marketing.
Cashill’s telecommunications major complemented with minors in business and apparel merchandising boded well for her on campus interviews with Target. Shortly after graduation, she departed her childhood home of Bloomington and began her carrier at Target in Minneapolis.
Being a wife and mother volunteering at schools combined with a six-year term on the board of directors for the Minnesota Children’s Museum has allowed Cashill to share her expertise and ethics with something close to her heart: children, her own and countless others.
