Sarah Fargo

Talent Agent — Paradigm Talent Agency

Sarah Fargo has been a talent agent in New York City for 25 years, representing actors for film, television, and theater. At Paradigm Talent Agency for the past 20 years, she's worked with many brilliant actors, including Domhnall Gleeson, Brian Gleeson, Adrien Brody, Gabriel Byrne, Laila Robins, Reg E. Cathey, Bob Balaban, Tamara Tunie, Brian Cox, Kristen Johnston, Anthony Rapp; and for 18 years, with the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman. She also guided and developed the early careers of many, including Jessica Chastain, Amy Ryan, Bobby Cannavale, Jeffrey Donovan, and Amy Sedaris.

As a young agent, she led the team that negotiated the deals for the original cast of the Broadway show "Rent."  She has gone on to see her clients reach the pinnacles of their profession, recognized by Emmy, Tony, Golden Globe, and Academy Award nominations and wins.

Sarah studied English Literature at Indiana University and moved to New York City immediately upon graduation in 1981. She held many jobs which led to her current position, including secretary at CBS News, production assistant at the Live From the Metropolitan Opera PBS series, artistic associate at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and assistant at the talent agency International Creative Management.

Originally from Evanston IL, Sarah is fiercely proud of her Chicagoland roots and credits much of her success to her midwestern upbringing and education. She resides in New York City.
